Privacy Policy
1. Purpose
The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Personal data is collected for the operation of this website (see section 3 below). Personal data refers to information relating to a natural person (Art. 5(a) FADP; Art. 4(1) GDPR). Please take the time to read our updated privacy information carefully.
2. Your Rights
When using our website, personal data is stored and processed. You or the data subjects have, in particular, the right to access the personal data stored about them (Art. 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), and the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR). Furthermore, you or the data subjects have the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), the right to object (including in connection with direct marketing, Art. 21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). Exceptions are reserved (e.g., Art. 17(3) GDPR).
3. Personal Data Concerned
When you visit our website, the company commissioned by us to operate the site processes and stores technical information (e.g., operating system, screen resolution) and browser details (e.g., version, language settings), specifically the public IP address of the user’s device, along with the date and time of access (so-called server log files). This data is used for statistical purposes.
3.1 Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and stored by your browser. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure.
Users can configure or restrict the use of cookies. With certain settings or restrictions, our website may no longer be fully functional.
3.2 Contact Form / Newsletter
If you send us inquiries via the contact form or subscribe to our newsletter, your details (including IP address) will be stored for processing.
We obtain your consent for sending the newsletter (so-called double opt-in procedure). You or the recipient will be asked to confirm the registration in an email. Once confirmed, the address is actively added to the distribution list. Your data from the contact form will be deleted after your inquiry has been processed or after you revoke your consent. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the unsubscribe link provided in the newsletter. Statutory provisions (e.g., retention periods) remain unaffected.
3.3 Marketing Measures
For marketing purposes, we use Google and Facebook services (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; Facebook, Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA). These services allow us to display advertisements more specifically without identifying you personally. The services we use include Google Ads, Google AdSense, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager. For example, an individual cookie or a similar application is stored on your device. We also use the Facebook or Meta tracking pixel. This provides Facebook with information, including that our website was accessed from your device.
We also offer so-called social plugins on our website (e.g., Facebook Like button). Such a social plugin is activated by clicking on it. Only through this activation does the service provider collect information and trigger its transmission.
3.5 Google Maps
Our website uses the Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. For processing and use, Google collects data, for example, about the use of map functions by visitors.
3.6 Script/Font Libraries
To display our content correctly and in a visually appealing manner across different browsers, we use script or font libraries (e.g., Google Webfonts). Otherwise, content will be displayed in a standard font. Calling up script or font libraries triggers a connection to the library operator.
4. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties
As a matter of principle, we do not pass on the data provided to us to third parties. However, we do work with third parties. In doing so, it may happen that third parties obtain knowledge of personal data. Therefore, particularly with regard to data protection and data security, we select our service providers carefully and take all measures required under data protection law for permissible data processing.
5. Data Processing Outside the European Union
We do not process your personal data outside the EU ourselves. However, some of the service providers whose services we use do process data outside the EU.
6. Hacking Attacks
Unfortunately, hacking attacks occur repeatedly to cause harm to website operators or their users (e.g., through viruses). Complete protection is not possible. Technical data is therefore processed for detection and defense. This data is deleted when it is no longer required for detection or defense.
7. Responsible Body
If you have any questions or suggestions regarding data protection or to assert your rights, please contact us via the contact page.
8. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements.
